I really would have picked the k40, if it had 4k 60fps recording. Such an amazing value for money it is! Now, I might pick the k40 pro to provide a proper balance between value and flagship features. Would be nice if it comes under poco branding to get at least 2 years of Android updates.

What did u guys vote. I voted vanilla k40
Anonymous, 46 minutes agoOther companies are also making bang for buck products, why didn’t they get more shipment… moreBecause other companies never went outside Asia and especially China on a larger scale.
You need a lot of initial investment to enter as much global markets as possible. And a lot of products.
Make one phone nobody will notice. Make two phones, ok. Make three phones, starting to get better. Make ten, twenty phones and people will start asking questions and be interested in them (out of curiosity, out of need).

Anonymous, 55 minutes agoIs because of the pandemic they thrived. People don’t want to pay 1000eur+ on a phone any… moreNah you just hate Chinese brands. You can’t digest Xiaomi’s success.
They launched great phones year round in every category which was the reason for their success.
K40 obviously, not because it’s cheap, but because it has the same GPU perfomnce of SD888 , and more stability and less heat, while cost twice as less
Android-Authority, 1 hour agoXiaomi showing the world why it got the highest percentage of increase in shipments last year … moreIs because of the pandemic they thrived. People don’t want to pay 1000eur+ on a phone anymore in the current market situation. People are loosing their jobs, struggle with money, so this kind of phones are much appreciated. And even some cheaper models (at 250-350eur) show a lot of potential.

The Android Freak, 1 hour agoHow camera is better one on Mi11? 1. Optical image stabilization
2. Better software (Xiaomi reserves its best software processing for its Flagships)
3. Better Ultrawide camera at 13 MP compared to 8 MP on the K40 Pro+
4. Larger sensor on main camera with bigger individual pixels
5. All those movie magic software features (not technical, but still worthy mentioned)
6. Night mode Video

But even this function is lacking in today’s Realme and Redmi phones. Only intra band is supported in these devices. One Plus excels in this regard. But One Plus falls in camera department. But again compromises have to be made. 5G will take two years to stabilize everywhete around the globe except three countries(China/USA/South Korea). Maybe countries with smaller area will take it very less time to deploy it. China took two years and lots of money to deploy 700000+ 5G only BTS.
These phones got my interest and wouldn’t mind if one came came global under the poco Brand with the 870 chipset, a good 64mp main shooter, 13mp ultra wide and a 5mp tele photo with an in display finger print reader if that’s not too much lol
Gandalf, 1 hour agoThis poll doesn’t make sense, phones are not reviewed yet to judge, these are Chinese pri… moreI strongly agree. Because Realme X7 Pro in China sales at 2200 Yuan and In India it sales at 3000 Yuan. That’s huge difference. Realme X7 Pro is shit for that price. Redmi K40 will come at 2600-3000 Yuan in India and that’s enough for it to get sell well.
I currently own Mi9T Pro. It will be a hard battle between Mi11 and Redmi K40 Pro + (Poco F3 Pro). I’m not a fan of curved dispalys but that one on the Mi11 is more Samsung like, whivh is nice. And the camera has OIS. But even without OIS, my Mi9T Pro makes really good photos so…I don’t know. Well see. 🙂
