2021 is a crucial year to drive a sustainable recovery. The circular economy will play a key role in that effort and is the focus of this year’s Japan Circular Economy Roundtable, March 2-3, 2021.
The World Economic Forum, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment-Japan, will convene this high-level virtual forum, offering a platform for business, government, and international leaders to discuss global, regional and national circular economy trends, while identifying actions to accelerate progress.
A special open plenary 2 March 2021 will kick off the Roundtable. This livestreamed event will cover the following: progressing action towards a circular economy for plastics; advancing circular electronics and batteries; opportunities for Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technology to accelerate the circular economy; and how circular economy business models are key to achieving net-zero decarbonization.
Watch this session live at 18:30-19:30 JST / 10:30-11:30 CET.
