PM Narendra Modi made Dr APJ Abdul Kalam the President of India, says Chandrakant Patil

Mumbai: Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made Dr APJ Abdul Kalam the President of India.

Dr Kadam was appointed as the President of India in 2002. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister at the time, while Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

He made this controversial statement at the BJP’s Yuva Morcha held in Pune. He claimed that Narendra Modi has never discriminated against Muslims.

Patil said it is necessary to understand the deeds of great personalities like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Gandhi, Veer Savarkar and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. “The youth has a huge contribution in the country’s freedom struggle. Similarly, the youths should think about what should be done to solve many problems in the society. He also mentioned that the Yuva Morcha is working to tell this generation the true history as well as to connect it with the nation, history and culture.
