OnePlus made a long-awaited comeback in the mid-range segment, and unveiled the OnePlus Nord. The brand also released another mid-range smartphone – OnePlus Nord N10 5G, along with the budget-centric Nord N100, in some markets. A couple of months back, a reliable tipster, Max J revealed that the company is working on OnePlus Nord N10 5G’ successor with codename Ebba, and it will be called OnePlus Nord N1 5G. Now, Max has revealed that the smartphone will be called OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Max didn’t reveal what the CE will stand for, but it is certainly a weird name considering it’s the successor of the OnePlus Nord N10.
A couple of months back, the renders of the device, along with key specifications had appeared on the web. The smartphone will have a 6.49-inch display with a punch-hole notch on the top left corner. It should be FHD+ resolution display similar to its predecessor. The smartphone will get a triple-rear camera setup compared to quad-rear camera setup on its predecessor. Though, the specifications and functionalities of these camera sensors are not revealed yet.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will have a plastic rear panel with a glossy finish, and the OnePlus logo. One of the big changes compared to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. To recall, OnePlus Nord N10 5G offered a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will offer a 3.5mm audio jack and will be around 8.4mm in terms of thickness.
