The Mercedes-Benz is now the entry-level EV from the EQ range and is priced at €47,450.50 (Rs 41.53 lakh approx.) in Germany and the German customers can further avail an environmental bonus of €9000. The Mercedes-Benz EQA is aiming for a launch anytime after March 2021.
The EQA packs a 66.5 kWh battery pack and offers a range of 486 km (NEDC). The SUV is powered by a 192 PS motor that lets it achieve a top speed of 160 kmph. The EQA boasts a front-wheel-drive powertrain and can clock 0-100 kmph in 8.9 seconds.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA will be offered as a single variant labelled EQA 250 and some of the standard features include LED high-performance headlamps, adaptive high beam assist, electrically operated tailgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, ambient lighting with 64 colours, multifunction sports steering wheel in leather, MBUX system and the navigation with electric intelligence system.
Apart from the standard features, the customers will be offered with 3 packages in total- Advanced Package, Advanced Plus Package and the Premium Package- to further enhance the luxury or the functionality quotient of the car.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA comes with a standard white colour scheme but the customers will have the option to choose two more limited-edition colour schemes- Electric Art and Edition 1. The Electric Art theme offers a rose gold upholstery with a back-lit trim element on the inside and special 18-inch alloy wheels on the outside. The Edition 1 theme offers special styling elements from AMG’s Night Package and offers an excessive use of EQ-exclusive Pure Blue them on the inside. Edition 1 also gets special 20-inch alloy wheels.
